We’ve been here now for six years, six up and down years but long enough you’d think to become part of the furniture. But no, we’re still derided, because the paps, pundits and part-time rent-a-gobs don’t like us usurping on their greed league and OK lifestyles. They tell us that we’ve got no fans, and imply that the ones we have aren’t worthy of a place at their table, well here’s a chance to prove them wrong.
Here’s a chance to stand up and be counted, to do your bit and to show that, no matter how much people might not want us around, we have the will to win and the desire to spoil their party for a while longer yet. Here’s your chance to stand together and stick two fingers up at the lot of them.
And with that, I’ll hand you over to The Empty Seats, who are now set to regale the Supporters Club bar in the South Stand, both before and after Sunday’s game against West Ham.
Sunday afternoon is sure to be a packed house, and the South Stand Bar is only likely to be open to Supporters Club members so if you’re not a member, now is an ideal time to join as for just a fiver, you automatically become a member for all of next season as well. Click here for more details about Supporters Club membership.
The Empty Seats debut CD is continuing to fly off the shelves and will also be on sale in the South Stand Bar on Sunday so if you haven’t managed to get your hands on a copy, you can buy one on Sunday for just a fiver with all profits going to the Anthony Ramsdale Appeal.
If you can’t wait that long, or would prefer to have it delivered to your home address, you can still buy the CD online at the Latics United website here.
