Celtic Manner

The latest Pie At Night podcast is now online featuring a special guest from north of the border, Barca Jim who we interrogate in our time honoured “ten questions” format before discussing our preferred council teas of today and in yesteryear.

We pore over the Blackburn game and look forward to the FA Cup plus we finally get the chance to discuss the reported takeover. We fully enter into the spirit of things by sharing some interesting Chinese phrases which might come in handy when our new overlords rock up.

The second half kicks off with some prolonged chat with Barca Jim about Celtic, Scottish football, the changing face of the game, and a bit of Barcelona and FC United for good measure.

We then recap on how our squad building is going in our shambolic attempts to put together Wigan Athletic’s worst ever team before a catch up on our FA Cup competition as we hit the first round proper.

And with that in mind, we briefly touch on the Crawley cup tie, our guest slags off Gary Caldwell (the player not the manager) before we do some half-hearted alternative Accrington Stanley adverts.

Laughs aplenty (well we thought we were funny anyway after a belly full of ale) we conclude with a bit of Chinese influenced indie pop.

We promise you that it’s easier to subscribe to the podcast so you don’t have to rely on us to remind you when a new episode comes out.
