A very young Latics team travelled down the A55 to play in
the homely surrounds of Llanelian
Road.
The promising Nouah
Dicko was outstanding in the first half but faded badly against The Seagulls in
the second, we had his contract forms ready for signing but what do we know?
Latics were neat & tidy and created chances in both
halves but didn’t take them while The Bay had two, one in each half and ended
up winning 2-0.
When the first goal went in the mocking cry of “rubbish
Wigan” was heard loud and clear but although said in jest (I hope) it is a
worry that the ethos of the club is to be a poor man’s Arsenal.
Wigan Athletic must be applauded for taking a team down
to North Wales after a request from Bernard and the club in crisis, their board
has just resigned, willno doubt be happy with the attendance and bar takings.
(Also I can personally recommend the chips & curry
served from the snack shack)
