FA Cup 3rd round draw

Author: No Comments Share:

After a glorious defence of the old trophy last season only losing to The Gunners ( & eventual winners) in the semi-final, Wigan Athletic FA Cup Winners in 2013 will join in for the third round draw which takes place on Monday December 8th live on BBC 2 at 7pm from Hull City who lost in final against The Arsenal

Latics are now a prize scalp in the greatest cup competition that this planet has to offer so any of the clubs drawing us home or away will be well pleased.

To say you beat The Cup winners of just two seasons ago will be motivation enough for most of our opponents, however as last season showed we did not give up the crown easily and I don’t see any genuine reason not to go all the way again.

Especially as our woeful league form of late has left a lot of catching up to do to even get into the promotion play-offs, this last chance of silverware will be just the ticket for the “new” manager to get his teeth into as we climb clear of relegation.
