Yep, it’s a COVID-19 special.

Quite possibly, the only time you will hear the words going viral associated with this podcast.

We’re back in virtual form after a long absence. We talk panic buying and more importantly, what we think Latics players and officials are buying right now.

Time to take stock of where we are, and seeing as there has been no football played since, we are completely topical and up to date for once.

Things are good, with Moore back as a proper centre forward and the acquisition of Leon Balogun and it’s almost a shame that the season has been paused. We have different opinions as to exactly what has changed but we’re glad it has.

Al regales us with some germ based music before Chris and Jimmy tell us about their experiences at the British Pie Awards.

We’re also talking self isolation tactics with the books, music and gadgets we’d like to use to get us through the wilderness. Our financial expert, LOL, gives us some short, incisive analysis of the club’s precarious position before we break for a spot of frantic hand washing.

We conclude with some songs to wash your hands to before some ill fated Huddersfield and Blackburn previews and perusal of the relegation battle ahead, whenever that might be.

And with that it’s a wrap. We might even be back in a week or two. There won’t be any football to talk about, but when has that ever stopped us before?
