With the recent dawn of a new era with a young vibrant Chairman in David Sharpe, Wigan Athletics commercial department has got into the act of (hopefully) bringing harmony between the supporters of the two outfits that share the DW Stadium.

Firstly in a carefully planned promotion range is the popular friendship scarf that is usually seen on European nights and has steadily creeped in to the British game.

Made locally and competitively priced with a voucher for a free pie at the stadium to the first 500 sold it is hoped that a more friendly homely rivalry will result in fans from both codes proudly wearing their dual scarfs at home & away games.
