It’s the festival that brought you Davros (and his Deep Space Deviants) well before they were a twinkle in Simon Cowell’s scowl. The festival that, for the last two years has taken the best of Wigan music for a two day cavalcade of fun in the lakes and it’s back for 2016.
Gathering in the Woods 2016 returns to the familiar surroundings of Fell Foot Wood in Newby Bridge, near Windermere. It’s earlier this year, on 30th & 31st July and this year’s bill brings some quality signed acts to the mix with the usual, ace local talent.
For those of you that haven’t been before, Gathering in the Woods is a small, intimate festival set in the beautiful Fell Foot wood in the Lakes. The £25 ticket price includes camping as well as some top music and a fun, family atmosphere. Tickets can be obtained from:
