Sorry, we had a dream.
It wasn’t a complicated dream. Just one about it being a good idea to get some friends and fellow Latics sorts in the same room; to enjoy fine ales, nibbles and the best pies we could lay our hands on, without a massive hike in the ticket price; and see what happened.
We hoped we’d get some decent content we could weave into a podcast. I’d envisaged something grander but a bit cheesy. Imagine a Val Doonican Christmas special or Mike Yarwood and friends, a simultaneous celebration of Christmas and all that’s good about the good ship Wigan Athletic.
But I’ve always been a dreamer…
