Owen Coyle will take charge of his first game as Wigan Athletic manager on English soil against Greek side Atromitos, when the team return from their pre-season tour of the United States.

The two sides will meet at Leigh Sports Village on Monday 22 July with a 7.30pm kick off, just two days after the squad touches down back in the UK, starting a busy penultimate week of pre-season in which the team play three games in the space of six days, with Morecambe and Dundee United also on the horizon.

The Superleague side finished fourth in Greece’s top division last season, and will enter the Europa League at the play off stage this season, the same stage in which they exited the completion last year at the hands of Newcastle Untied.

Tickets can be purchased on the night of the game and are priced at £15.00 for adults and £10.00 for concessions
