Our near neighbours Chorley have won promotion to the Premier Division of the Northern Premier League after a 2-0 win against AFC Fylde at Victory Park.

2950 folk witnessed goals in each half as first Steve Foster scored just after twenty minutes then Jack Dorney sealed the match just afore the end..

It was a bit of a shock for the away outfit as The Coasters were unbeaten against the Magpies with two wins and a draw and had not conceded a goal either in the three previous meetings this season.
