The Pie at Night return, sounding slightly more inebriated than last time as we do the second half of a double header in the marvellous Wigan Central.
We start with some ridiculously out of date football chat, but that’s never stopped us before.
There’s some Easter chat, which inevitably moves on to chippy chat before our television section takes a slightly dark turn. Let’s just say, there’s some useful parenting advise in there for a couple of prominent medics.
We resurrect our 140 characters idea, where we analyse the public’s thoughts on Wigan Athletic’s past back room staff who made the club it is today, before moving on to the next round, which is goalkeepers.
We cover the walk to Leeds again before asking the all important question “is an electric hob ever acceptable?” To be honest, nobody can trump Martin’s tale of attempting to cook Heinz Big Soup in a kettle.
We reconvene to where we think we will be by the end of the season, with Jimmy plumping for a ludicrously optimistic 18th. Given the lack of silverware in the offing, we finish with a bit of general football.
