The recent relegation battle between The Chairboys & The Pirates caught my attention not only for the issue at stake but for the quartered shirt design of both clubs.

Wanderers lost the match at Adams Park 2-1 which leaves them needing to win at Torquay United who themselves are already relegated and hope that Bristol Rovers lose at home to mid table Mansfield Town.

The Cobblers are also in the equation but have a better goal difference of six.

Who says all the drama is in the Premier Greed League ?

So whatever happens it looks like the Football League will be missing a quite unique (to the English game) shirt design.
