The Wigan Athletic first team squad is currently chilling in Sweden ahead of this afternoon’s training camp game against Ostersunds.

Having jetted off to Sweden on Tuesday this will be the first time that the players will actually partake in a game of football.  Training has apparently been intenses and speaking of the game captain Gary Caldwell said,

“We’ve been going there (Sweden) for the last couple of years now and it’s always been an opportunity for us to really get pre-season underway and experience a bit of game-time too which will help to dust the cobwebs off.”

The team will be in Sweden until Sunday.
