Wigan Athletic v West Ham United – a little previous

Author: No Comments Share:

Wigan Athletic and West Ham United lock horns again on Sunday knowing that the visitors will be relegated should they lose or draw the game.  The game will be played in front of the biggest crowd of the season with the Hammers bringing 34 free coaches full of cocky cockneys eager to witness a great escape.

The hosts though will be ultra confident of picking up the three points on offer that will keep their season alive.  Latics will then travel to Stoke City the following weekend with their destiny more than likely riding on a victory against a team that plays in red and white stripes.  Does Sheffield United ring any bells?
