1931/32

For the record, Borough had been drawn to play Burton Town in the FA Cup but they had pulled out of the competition due to their financial plight. Burton therefore had a ‘walk over’ into the second round of the competition where they defeated Aldershot 4-1 at home before being beaten 4-0 by Blackburn Rovers in a Third Round tie.
