Wigan Athletic’s new orange away kit seems to have split opinions amongst the club’s fanbase, but at least the new ‘Tangerine Dream’, as I like to call it, has been Christened with a stomping 4-1 victory over Preston.
There now follows a very cheesy lineup of songs which will no doubt be heard blasting out of car stereos on away matchdays this season. Be warned, there’s some rather tenuous ones.
- FANTAstic Day – Haircut 100
- Golden Brown – Stranglers
- Lady Marmalade – LaBelle
- Orange Crush – REM
- Orange Juice Blues – Bob Dylan
- Peaches – Stranglers
- Rip it Up – Orange Juice
- Rust in Peace – Megadeth
- Sally Cinnamon – Stone Roses
- Takes Two to Tango – Louis Armstrong
- Tangerine – Feeder
- The Salmon Dance – Chemical Brothers
- Theme From Mahogany – Diana Ross
- Tiger Feet – Mud
- Traffic (cones) – Stereophonics
- Vermilion – Slipknot
If you can put up with that lot, you’re much more tolerant than I.
