Another slice of pie…

Author: No Comments Share:

A few months ago. A few (cough cough)-something blokes off of the internet, decided it would be a bit of a laugh if they had a go at one of those podcast things. They knew they’d be walking in the, significant, shadow of the infamous Mudhuts Media Podcasts, but if they ploughed their own furrow then they might just get away with it. If nothing else it would give them an excuse for a night in the pub every once in a while.

And so, The Pie at Night podcast was born.

Now, five months and six episodes later, we’ve come to the conclusion that we might start to take things a bit more seriously. It’s one thing getting a bit merry, talking for two hours and then foisting it on anyone who happens to fall over it, it’s another thinking about how you look after your audience and get better, more consistent #numbers.

And so, this website came into being.

It’s a website, primarily to keep you up to date with what’s going on with the podcast, to let you know how our polls go and to waffle on about rubbish Laticsmen of yesteryear but we’ll also use it to plug our wares and to inflict some of our writing on you as well. As ever you can expect a strong Latics feel to proceedings, but, if you’ve listened to the podcasts then you’ll know we find it hard to keep on topic, so there’ll be other stuff as well.

We hope you enjoy it.
