Wigan Athletic tribute band The Empty Seats are back on the road with their lively brand of Latics tailored cover songs. From Ronnie Stam to Torquay Promotion Party to the anthemic We Live in Mudhuts and from what I hear plenty new material, the group are currently rehearsing and getting ready to take the stage once more.

The Empty Seats are doing a Charity Christmas gig at The Honeysuckle pub in Poolstock on Saturday 22nd December 2012 from 4pm. As the more observant of you may have noticed this is around about an hour or so after the Arsenal game has finished giving you just enough time to wander over from the DW Stadium and enjoy a bit of festive spirit.

The band are performing in aid of Joseph’s Goal, the appeal launched to help raise funds and awareness into NKH (Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia) As many of you will know the appeal was launched as the Wigan Observer’s football reporter, Paul Kendrick son is suffering from this condition and we are sure that the entire Latics community will continue to rally round in support of this cause.

So get down there if you can, have a few beers and a sing-along in aid of a great cause, a great little boy and a great football club!
