Black or coloured ?

Now this isn’t a rant about “the good old days” and they should always wear black boots, however the mould was broken when ginger head Alan Ball wore white boots whilst at Everton back in the mists of time. (Under 30′s ask yer Grandad)
The opening match this season Latics against Reading saw all 22 players in rainbow boots, the only traditional black ones were worn by the officials and even those had large white flashings on ‘em.
The men in black (sometimes both kit & boot wise) are not usually fussed what footwear they have as they are usually contracted to wear a specific brand depending on  the tournament sponsors.
The only question I have for the suits in the corridors of law making is if the players have to wear undergarments in the same colour as the kit then shouldn’t the boots be the same main colour as the kit ?
Liverpool’s players should all have red boots, Celtic in green or white, with Norwich in yellow !
