The UEFA Champions League of late does get a bad press and deservedly, a bold brash money making scam for the elite of Europe to get more and more bloated on the wads of television and outrageous sponsorship cash.

However whatever combo of games you put forward for these particular semis a “real” treat will be on store for the four games involved.

At least unlike some of the group games these actually do count and the huge money the players all earn will be put to one side as they strive for glory on a personal and collective team front.

Because of “the business plan” of the suits at UEFA the Champions League is getting to be more important than all the domestic leagues for players from all over the globe.

In fact the World Cup could be overshadowed as not ALL the worlds greatest players are in the four yearly circus, however UEFA’s football monster attracts all the superstars to Europe even the talented South Americans who desperately yearn the honour of being a winner.
