You just knew it was coming, Big Dave has spoken, apparently to Radio 5 Sportsweek, saying:

“He’s doing a magnificent job, I’ve always said Roberto will go to one of the top clubs in Europe and when that time comes he will leave Wigan with my blessing.”

“He’s just a brilliant manager and he will get one of the top jobs in Europe.  I don’t want to lose Roberto but it’s inevitable he will climb the ladder.”

So if I’m right reading between the lines,  Wigan have had a few enquiries about Bob’s availability in the Summer!

So after a Roller Coaster football season, Wigan fans may have to for a second summer on the spin, deal with more intrigue and uncertainty.

Bob, we trust you’ll make the right decision.
