The Wigan Athletic Old Boys will be giving up their time to play in a special charity game this Friday.

The game is in aid of Angela Charles who is suffering the devastating effects of Motor Nuerone Disease.  Her husband Ray, has had to give up work so that he can care for his wife who is now unable to move any part of her body from the neck down.  Proceeds from the game will be put towards the cost of the family home being fitted with a wet room.

Kevin Langley is a family friend and has been heavily involved in organising this game and is hopeful that the fans of this great family club will once more pull together to help this unfortunate family.

Players confirmed to take some part in the game against Golborne Sports FC are…

Roberto Martinez, Graeme Jones, Neill Rimmer,  David Lowe,  Dave McMullen,  Peter Atherton,  John Robertson,  David Glenn,  Graham Barrow,  Neil Bailey,  Stuart Barlow,  Bryan Griffiths, Mark Schofield,  Andy Ainscow and Mark Leonard.
