As you know, like many Football outlets, TNS were quick to add it’s support to Fabrice Muamba. Over the last 4 days it looks like those prayers have been answered.
Prayers though have not been the only reason for Fabrice’s recovery, behind those prayers were 5 people who assisted on the pitch within seconds and ensured Fabrice received the best medical care available, they are as follows:
Bolton physio Andy Mitchell, who was the first to see Fabrice fall, casting physio rules to one side and ran straight on to the pitch.
Bolton Club Doctor Jonathan Tobin, who administered the defibrillator shocks on the pitch, in the tunnel and also in the Ambulance.
Spurs Club Doctor Shabaaz Mughal, who assist Doctor Jonathan Tobin.
Spurs Physio Geoff Scott, who assisted the Bolton medical staff.
A Spurs fan at the ground who ran on to the pitch, a Doctor Andrew Deaner, who ironically is a Consultant Cardiologist at London Chest Hospital, the same Hospital Fabrice was rushed too.
Fabrice in time will no doubt recognise the work these men did, but as the world watches Fabrice recovery, TNS would like to acknowledge these 5 men, to show that sometimes miracles do happen.
