We are Walking4Joseph this coming weekend from Morecambe to Wigan, coinciding with the fixture between the two clubs on Saturday 19th March 2022.
We will be walking a tortuous 29.3 miles on the Friday but we will also be up early on the Saturday to complete the trek.
This is an open invite to anyone who wants to join us. In particular, people and families with young children, who want to support Joseph.
All you have to do is meet us at the points and times listed below, and set up a fund raising page or sponsorship form to send around your home, school or place of employment.
Here are the three levels of walk you can do for Saturday 19th March:
Stage 1. Meet at Premier Inn Preston South (PR5 6BZ) 7.15am and walk 14.7 miles to the DW Stadium
Stage 2. Meet at Charnock Richard Football Club (PR7 5LZ) at 10am and walk 8 miles to the DW Stadium
Stage 3. Meet at the Boar’s Head pub (WN6 0AD) at 12.30pm and walk 3 miles to the DW Stadium
Then, all you need to do is:
First, set up a Just Giving page, click Start Fundraising and when your page is set up Click “Join the Team” here: Team Joseph! fundraising for Joseph’s Goal on JustGiving
Second, download a paper sponsorship form here and print off: http://www.josephsgoal.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/NewJGJan22Sponsorship-and-Gift-Aid-Declaration-Form-Word-versionJoe11.docx
Third, email walk4joseph@gmail.com to let us know you’re coming.
And that is it!!
PS If you can’t make it, but you still want to contribute in some way, here is a link to my donation page, where every sum, small or large will make a huge difference to Paul & family and all the parents of children who suffer from NKH.
