Not the programme #2

Well, it’s been quieter down at tPAN towers this week. It’s been half term and parental responsibility has taken over from messing about on the internet. Still there’s been plenty to get your teeth into, if you’re looking for some essential pre-match entertainment.

We started the week considering the CheckaTrade conundrum. We’re guessing that some of you didn’t go to the game, did you think about your reasons why? Not as much as the 5th Horseman did, We’ll wager…

We then released Episode 34 of our podcast. 34, and no one has punched any of us on the nose yet, look how far we’ve come. It was timed perfectly for people’s walk home from the game, so it’s no surprise that we got 867 listens almost as soon as it hit the internet.

Our twitter timeline this week has been full of strange people talking about stranger things. No, not the premier of the second series of the Netflix drama, but the “Rugby League””World Cup”. As it was a special week for him (Happy birthday James) we let Ian indulge his twin obsessions of egg-chasing and Italy with a piece on Italian Eggchasing…

Thursday also saw our EoS left-back poll, as usual there was controversy about the contenders, BUT THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN and it all came out in the wash anyroad. Alan also missed out on his #councilteathursday entry, but he definitely bossed the rubbish snacks competition that night.

Sitting back and resting on our laurels is what we do best at the Pie at Night, but no one was more surprised as us when the #numbers came in on the mid-week charts…

Although, we’re not quite as happy with some of the reviews we’ve picked up.

With our Friday morning titillation out of the way it was time to look forward to the game and our 12th man columns. Jimmy looked back on the week’s action and issued a call to arms to get behind Jordan Flores today

Sean focussed on youth, and the positive signs that came out of Tuesday’s game.

Finally, we’ll go back to Jimmy’s article and encourage you all to show your support for young Jordan Flores today, him and his family really are big parts of the Latics family so let’s get behind them as much as we can.

See you on the other side.
