Important point in the season? Pah! Game where it all sinks in? Pah! Now I’ll admit to writing this under the influence, but what if…
… our team is better than we think it is. After all we have the pace and the power and we’re quite tidy when we put our minds to it.
.
.. the premier league isn’t as great as everyone says it is. We’ve seen little evidence of the pace, the passion or the skill that Andy Gray tells us is the bread and butter of the league. We’ve played 5 sides now who’ve played in Europe this season and Chelsea apart there’s been little choose from between them and us.
… our current form is actually what our season is going to be like? I don’t mean 5 wins out of 6 games unbeaten, but being capable of beating teams bar the top three or four.
At this moment in time, I just can’t work out if any of those are true. One thing is for certain, this league isn’t living up to its reputation so far.
