Wigan has signed Honduras defender Juan Carlos Garcia on a free Transfer.
The 25 year old defender recently left his home country team of Olimpia. It is understood he’s signed a 3 year contract as long as Wigan can get his UK visa sorted.[PPD_PAYTOREADMORE]
This will be the 8thnew signing that Owen ‘No shorts for 13/14’ Coyle will have at his disposal.
This bloke will also be another Honduran (yep I had to Google that) to play for Wigan Athletic, with Fig, Wilson ‘legs like a Giraffe’ Palacios, Hendy Thomas and recent signing Roger Espinoza.
Not too sure if the Polish Shops in Wigan may have competition from shops selling Honduran baleada with egg, sour cream, cheese & beans, but we can wait to see?
Anyway the team here at TNS are looking forward to the new season, and don’t forget we have Dundee United Saturday afternoon at 3pm. Then the league starts in earnest with Barnsley away and then to Wembley for the Charity Shield, bet that’ll be a Football trivia question within 12 months.
