Meet the new boss!!

Author: No Comments Share:

Wigan Athletic in association with Joseph’s Goal are giving you the opportunity to quiz new Wigan Athletic boss Owen Coyle on his hopes, wishes and plans for the new season. Following the departure of that last bloke we’re not allowed to talk about any more, the close season has seen a revolution take place with many players spinning through the DW Stadium revolving doors, a new backroom team, a new division and the excitement of a forthcoming European campaign.

Owen Coyle, after eight months out of the game, has injected a new wave of optimism and positivity throughout the club and this is your opportunity to meet him, listen to his vision or if you prefer, grill him on any subject of your choice.

Also in attendance will be Wigan Athletic CEO Jonathan Jackson on hand to answer the obligatory questions about goal music, singing sections and the hyper-inflationary pricing of pies and ale which are often directed at the bemused manager.

It promises to be a light hearted and informative curtain raiser to the new season and will also involve a quiz and a raffle and prizes with all proceeds from the evening going to Joseph’s Goal charity.

It all takes place on Tuesday 30th July from 6.30pm. Tickets for this event are selling fast and are priced at just £5 and can be bought either in person from the DW Stadium ticket office or online here
