Latics fans praised by the Emma Hoolin Appeal team

Here are some nice words of thanks from Karen Walsh with regards to the fantastic response to the Emma Hoolin Appeal on Saturday..

On behalf of the Hoolin family I would like express my deepest gratitude to all the wonderful fans who gave so generously on Saturday’s Fundraising Event for Emma Hoolin.  All us collectors felt amazed, touched and inspired seeing so many people giving so much to help beautiful little Emma. It was truly overwhelming and tears were shed by many of us on witnessing the Latics fans literally digging deep to fill our collection buckets.

You amazing people raised £6,601.78 in cash donations alone. There was also a surge in text donations to the website and it looks as though the event raised in excess of £10,000. An unbelievable amount!!!!!

I never doubted how special us Latics fans were, but what I saw on Saturday had me floored. I don’t think I have ever felt so proud to be a Wiganer.

I cannot tell you how grateful we all are to each and every one of you who made this event such an inspiring success.

Thank you so much for doing your bit to get Emma to America.
