Lee is a temporary Cobbler!

Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Lee Nicholls has agreed to a loan move to League Two outfit  Northampton Town until October.

Lee spent last season on loan to Accrington Stanley along with Latics youngster Rob Kiernan and this move is designed for him to gain even more first team experience following his nine appearances for the Accies, managed by former Latics midfielder, Paul Cook.  The England Under 20’s shot stopper has featured for Latics during the pre season, although he is still to make his Latics debut in the Premier League.

Lee will be joining his fourth club as a loanee the others being Hartlepool United, Shrewsbury Town, Sheffield Wednesday the the afore mentioned Accrington Stanley.
