Michael Jackson the downside

Author: No Comments Share:

Michael Jackson has a lot to answer for, well his namesake & that statue does.

Fulham have been relegated from The Premier League when the infamous, Marmite syndrome “love it or hate it” statue was removed from the homely Craven Cottage.

It now resides in city centre Manchester at the wonderful National Football Museum.

While over at Greenhous Meadow, Shrewsbury Town were also relegated whilst being managed by one Michael Jackson.

He was as the media say a “journeyman” defender, his clubs were all North West based, Crewe Alexandra, Bury, Preston North End, Tranmere Rovers, Blackpool & Shrewsbury Town.

His playing career of 560 appearances and scoring 37 goals was cut short by knee problems in 2010 after making his debut in 1992.
