The following is from the clubs official website . . . . .
“Occasionally season ticket holders may be relocated to an alternative seat for Europa League group stage home games.”
I remember reading a few years ago when Arsenal season ticket holders bemoaned the fact that they HAD to move seats even though they were long standing season ticket holders.
The reason being, so that the UEFA free loaders could have the best seats because it is their competition and their rules, so stuff the loyal money up-front supporters.
It was mainly the good folk who had the decent seats in the middle of the main stand who were found a seat elsewhere in the stadium, so the reasoning follows is that they paid the most money for the privilege as well.
I never thought in my lifetime that this European directive would affect me and ourlass whilst watching our local club, Wigan Athletic.
What everyone should realise in the hierarchy at any club is the management, the players, the press etc are paid to be there while the supporters pay to be there, that my friend is the difference.
