Wigan Athletic supporter, Supporters Club media manager and Cockney Latic editor Jason Taylor, better known as ‘Jay T’ has decided to take part in the Run4ALife’ event at Haigh Hall tomorrow.
He is doing it for a charity close to his heart and also as a bit of a challenge for himeslf. In true ‘LaticsUnited’ style it is a pleasure to make all Latics fans aware of this and hopefully help him to reach his target tomorrow.
Says the man himself,
“Cancer has touched many people’s lives and if you haven’t had a relative or friend who hasn’t had or doesn’t knows someone who has had cancer you are very lucky.
“I have done several things for charity in the past, little things like having sponges thrown at me, hosting race night nights and football tournaments and jumping out of aeroplanes or helicopters, but generally nothing that was exceptionally physically exerting. As anybody who knows me can vouch, I am no runner these days and that makes this event a little more daunting than if it were 15 years ago when I was still playing football and such”.
It goes without saying that all at TNS hope you achieve the target.
