Get this date sorted for yourselves, the Ashton Athletic  XI v Wigan Athletics Legends XI is looking like Friday the 19th April * at the homely Brocstedes Park.

A great clubhouse along with a warm welcome is always assured plus all the players come into the bar afterwards for a pie & pint with the fans.

Past match’s have been very entertaining over the years with Latics coming out on top each time, however last seasons was a lot closer so the home outfit might just spring a surprise.

Also make it a double header and watch a derby game on the Tuesday (02/04/13) when Ashton Athletic host Wigan Robin Park with a 19.45K/O

*   The date is subject to change due to various circumstances beyond the control of both clubs.

For instance, the weather, if WAFC XI can get their owd bones moving and if enough pie & pies available on the night etc, etc.
