Anyone interested in the history of Wigan Athletic prior to the helmsmanship of Dave Whelan will be fascinated by this worthy attempt to chronicle the clubs roots.

Its worth buying for the wonderful ‘Kits’ artwork on the front-cover alone, originally sourced from this very site.
