Tranmere Rovers have today completed a one month loan deal for Wigan Athletic defender Roman Golobart.

Although he is still to make his Premier League debut with the Blues, he does have a wealth of first team experience already under his belt, having spent a season long loan with Inverness Caledonian Thistle last season.  He scored twice in 19 Scottish Premier League appearances and was the club’s player of the year at the end of the campaign.

Roman joins an increasingly lengthy list of Latics loanees with Lee Nicholls currently at Northampton Town, Nouah Dicko at Blackpool and Adam Dawson at Accrington Stanley.
