Turn it on again

Welcome to the technically challenging 29th episode of the Pie at Night. With one user finding himself with a bust sound card and another completely inaudible, we started late and lost a lot of great #content, probably the best #content ever but never mind the show must go on, even if that show is truncated to a measly fifty minutes.

In this podcast, we speak at length to Oldham fan Neil Tague ahead of our game this weekend. We ask him what it’s like to follow a team who finish 17th, and why there’s all this bitterness over this “Latics” business. As ever, we take a reflective look at the two club’s recent history, get the insider view as to the state of play over at Boundary Park and of course grill our guest on pies, pubs and, respectfully, why Oldham is actually in Yorkshire.

Elsewhere, of the sections we manage to keep intact, there’s tweet of the week, a review of the Bury game, an FA Cup preliminary round update, some Oldham things of our choosing and the very last instalment of the Emporium of Sh***. Or is it? Maybe, like the FA Cup, these are just the qualifiers. The aperitif for the main event to follow so to speak. So, join Neil, Ian, Luke, Jimmy and very occasionally, Alan for the latest.
