When you shake hands with the devil you have to pay the price

Apparently Sir Alex is non too pleased @ Sky having a hold over football fixtures.

He believes TV is god @ the moment when it comes to Football and Football clubs have little or no say over when they play their football.

Is this the Pot calling the Kettle Black?

It’s a shame really when you think of the £60M that United earned from Sky last season. The fact in September they have already appeared live 6 times, and this will be 9 by the end of November.

They were on TV over 35 times last season. You really have to feel sorry for them, especially when Sir Alex believes Sky should be paying Manchester United more money as the product goes out to around 200 countries.

As a Wigan fan we can relate to this with being in the same Premier League and being shown 5 times last season, earning a quarter of the TV revenue that United received.

Wonder what has brought this on?

>> The majority of their Champions League matches are followed by matches @ Old Trafford, so it can’t be travel.
>> Surely they can’t be moaning @ being on TV the most and all that extra sponsorship, even their Training kit is sponsored.
>> All that money Sky give them for match appearances, it really can’t be that can it, allowing them to buy their star players.

Oh that’s right in Spain Barca & Real are in line to get 34% of all revenue from their TV deal, even though they only represent 10% of the clubs.

So the ruse that Alex is miffed @ Sky dictating his fixtures is really Manchester United want more money & are not really bother what scraps the likes of Wigan, Blackburn, Bolton, Stoke etal pick up.

Bet there is a picture of this bloke up on the wall of Manchester United Board room.
