Wigan Athletic – A minute’s applause at 3.08pm!

Author: No Comments Share:

Wigan Athletic supporters and the club are set to party in fine style this Sunday as an eighth successive Premier League season beckons in August!

It has been suggested that when the clock strikes 3.08 pm during the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers the sell out home supporters should hold a minute’s applause to celebrate this fact.

All at TNS feel this is a wonderful gesture and a remarkable way to show Roberto Martinez and the players the thanks and support that they deserve on achieving what, let’s face it, was once an impossible Wigan sporting dream

The supporters have been truly remarkable and really stepped up to the plate this season and this gives us all a final chance to applaud the team in a truly unique, Wigan Athletic way before the festivities begin when the final whistle blows!
