Well we promised and we intend to deliver. The final Mudhutter of the season goes on sale this weekend with a chirpy, celebratory outlook with upbeat and thought provoking articles for you to spend all summer reading on the bog.
Another 44 pages of considered prose is available for your deliberation from our usual band of contributors and we take a detailed look back over the Premier League era, not that we ever thought it was coming to an end. Oh no. Not us. No sirree. Not a chance. Old confident Mudhutter here had no doubts whatsoever. Ahem.
Anyway without further ado, you can procure a copy from our eager sellers from 1pm onwards at the DW Stadium on Sunday on the bridge by the South and East Stand corner, outside Rigalettos or the programme man on Robin Park Car Park. We will have roaming sellers around the ground in the South Stand Bar and Champions Bar and scurring around trying to avoid the many people who want to get rid of us. Stop us and buy one. And say “is that the programme?” That always makes them chuckle!!
It will also be available from Saturday in the following shops and hostelries: Sparks Newsagents, Wallgate, Waterstones in the Grand Arcade, Mesnes Road News, Sams Bar, Frog Lane; Brickmakers, Woodhouse Lane.
If you are slightly at odds with the outside world and wish to have a copy come fluttering gently through your angry letter box, you can simply buy one online and get it delivered. Don’t worry, we’ll pick up the increased, extortionate cost of a stamp.
