Wigan Athletic v Everton – a little previous!

Wigan Athletic will lock horns with Everton on Saturday and the hosts can ill afford to continue what is a poor record against the Goodison Park outfit.  Having won just two of eleven previous league encounters Latics will be hoping for a third victory over the Toffees that will lift them out of the relegation zone.  If results also go their way the Blues could at last leave a bit of daylight between themselves and the bottom three.  And with just three games left, one of which is against West Ham United at home, things could be looking a lot roaier come team time on Saturday!
