Wigan Athletic – Wigan Reds!

Wigan Athletic have today revealed that their third kit for the coming season is set to be all red.

With the club celebrating eighty years in existence this season, it is perhaps fitting that the club should go back to their red and white roots.

The official club site has announced…

Wigan Athletic can exclusively reveal the first images of the brand new 2012/13 third strip, an all-red kit designed and produced by manufacturer Mifit.

The design lends itself to some of the Latics kits of old, kits that have been synonymous with the Club including the Division Two title winning side in 2002/03, the side that famously beat Chelsea in the FA Cup in 1979 and the colours in which we began our existence back in 1932.

Fans will be able to get their hands on the new shirt on Tuesday August 7 from the Club Shop in the Galleries, Wigan, online at wiganathletic.com/shop and from the DW Sports stores in Wigan, St Helens and Leigh.

Adult short sleeved shirts are available for £39.99 with juniors available at £29.99.

To coincide with the launch of the new third strip, the 2012/13 Club training range will also be unveiled and available to purchase from the Club Shop in the Galleries, Wigan and online at wiganathletic.com/shop.
