Renowned for his crossing ability and chipped in with odd goal Jean André Emanuel Beausejour Coliqueo has gone back to his homeland  to play for Colo-Colo.

Nicknamed Palmatoria he played in England for Birmingham City & Latics, plus appearances in the 201& 2014 World Cups for Chile

With over 60 international caps to his name he played just three short of a century of games for us scoring three times.

This is what he said about his move to his new club …

“Coming to this club one has the greatest demands are constantly be fighting for championships and everything you play, both locally and internationally, is to say you want to win it all with Colo Colo.

The main motivation to come to a club like this is the level of demand you have, fight for important things each semester for a player is super important and very seductive.

It makes me very happy to reach such an important club like Colo Colo, makes me very happy the previous stage where the club was keen to tell me that I think I did much to take the decision to return to the country.

One when it starts in football always dreams of playing for top teams. Thank God I have been fortunate to play in big clubs and come and play in Chile Colo-Colo I think it’s very important for my career.

For me, this turn has nothing to do with a family issue or anything, by the end of last season had two concrete offers for different reasons and ended up discarding my coming to Colo-Colo is a challenge, have long to transfer, but I think I needed was to fight for important things.

Practically the last three seasons have played all over the left side, I have to side-line four, side wheel inline five as fourth midfielder in that sense I settle in all three positions and Hector Tapia see in which I am most useful. “
