You might have spotted that Latics have sold the 500 “going halves” tickets for the Leeds game. I wasn’t quite sure what to make of the news when I first heard it. I know there will be those of you who think that’s a massive away following for Latics. You might even think that all […]
Another defeat by a single goal. The Darkside pessimists had suggested that Latics would get badly beaten at Watford. That was not the case, but it is another bad result for Malky Mackay. He has an unenviable record for a new manager of one point gained in four games in charge. Can Mackay turn things […]
You will have noticed, or will shortly notice, that Latics players are “going halves” with the first 500 of you that purchase tickets for the Leeds game. This is as a direct result of the actions of the Latics fans that have chosen to speak out and act against the unacceptable pricing of tickets. Whilst […]

He is hard working, good in the air, a real team player. His club prided itself on playing a more typically English style than is the norm in Spain. He played the lone centre forward role there. […]
With all the furore of late this prestigious award has gone un-noticed by both the local & national media, mainly it is because it’s good news about our club. The same club ( and Dave Whelan) they were ALL fawning over after deservedly beating City in the 2013 Cup Final, plus the same club that annoyed […]
Last Wednesday, in a parallel universe, Wigan Athletic appointed Malky Mackay as their manager. At the resulting press conference, Mackay was revealed to the local and national media, flanked by Chairman Dave Whelan and Chief Executive Jonathon Jackson.
