The digital age has struck again, ye olde club North of the border, Queens Park FC the bastion of the amateur game now only produce’s it’s matchday programme online with no printed versions available.
The club cites falling sales and hence losing money with not many of the regular 500 hardy home souls purchasing the programme on a regular basis.
All the news, stats and content is available online and more upto date than the print run, however many fans prefer “hard copy” so the cultural aspect of said literature I think will be safe for a few more seasons to come.
Apparently it is in the t&c’s that league clubs must produce a printed programme for purchase to the punter but how long will it be before other clubs follow suit ?
