Roberto Martinez has once again decided to take a plunge with two Spanish youngsters, placing both of them into the Youth Development Squad with immediate effect.

Martinez has done this in the past having recruited Roman Golobart and Abian Serrano in similar circumstances in August 2009.  Eduard Campabadal is a centre back who has captained the Barcelona Under 19’s team and has made 11 international appearances for the Spanish Under 17’s and he has also represented his country three times at Under 18’s level.

Guillermo, an as yet unknown quantity is aged 19 years old, the same age as Eduard, and he operates as a striker.
