Sixty for sixty

The Mudhutter is sixty issues old and in celebratory mode, so we’re producing a 60 page special to celebrate. There is of course a sombre note too, as we mourn the passing of one of our biggest cult heroes, Bobby Campbell but we’ve also got an issue packed full of great articles and features.

There’s plenty early comment on the demise of Caldwell and the arrival of Warren Joyce and we invite all our contributors to do a brief Q&A in order to answer the ultimate question: just who is your favourite left back?

There’s articles on the Anglo Italian Cup, Golf, Music, Politics and a detailed feature on the resurgence of our former rivals, Hereford FC. Plus all the regular features you’ve come to know and love.

At just 3.33p per page or approximately £0.000061 per word it represents excellent value and we’d be delighted if you would come and buy one off us at our regular spots on the bridge and opposite Rigalettos on Saturday before the game.

If you prefer, you can buy the Mudhutter online in print or digital format. Just click here to buy:

Failing that a limited amount will be going into the following shops and hostelries over the weekend: Sparks Newsagents, Wallgate; Waterstones, Wigan; Brickmakers Arms, Wigan, Northern Beer Temple, Wigan Lane and Mesnes Road News.

And at this point, we’d just like to thank all of our readers, writers, stockists and sellers all the best for supporting us for another year and we’ll be back once more in 2017.
