Mwah, ha, ha, ha! The TNS secret laboratory has been working overtime and, for once, our random experiments have produced a result. BarStaff’s atmos-o-tron, made from a mish-mash of NPL programmes, used non-league tickets, left over TNS mugs and a Christmas tree with cans of Carlsberg on it, has successfully controlled the conditions to give perfect hat and scarf weather. Now, if only had a practical use for it.
What’s that? The nice people at Savile Rogue have been in touch asking if we want to run another competition for one of their (promo voice) top quality, almost too good for the terraces, 100% Cashmere scarves? Oh, I love it when a plan comes together.
Savile Rogue scarves give a nod to football terraces of yesteryear, shunning in-your-face logos and cheap nylon in favour of a traditional design and the comfort, quality and warmth of top grade wool.
It’s the sort of scarf you would be happy to wear even when you’re not at the match and if you don’t believe us then ask KittGreenBlue, who won one of these scarves last year and says,
“It’s dead good. It looks nice, it keeps my neck warm and stops me spilling pie on my shirt. When I’ve got it on I feel like Roberto Mancini, but without the money, hair or suave Italian good looks. It’s got to be a winner”
To get your hands on one you need to do three things:
1) Like Savile Rogue’s Facebook page
2) Like our Facebook page
3) Send us a message on Facebook with the answer to the following question “which was the last Latics match to get postponed due to the weather?”
and do all that by the deadline of midnight on Saturday 23rd November.
You can pick your prize from any of the Wigan cashmere scarves priced at £58.95.
