Apparently so, Roberto Martinez has been given permission by Dave Whelan to speak to Liverpool about their vacant Managers post.

Dave has been quoted on ESPN as confirming in the last hour that Liverpool have been in contact.

The story is now in all the major News Media streams, including the BBC & Sky.

Of course what hasn’t been said is if Roberto will agree to talks.

Okay I’m clutching at straws here.
