Zonal Marking, TNS & Wigan Athletic

Author: No Comments Share:

Okay we know it may not be the best timing, what with all the speculation on Roberto Martinez.

But back in April TNS started some work with Michael Cox @ Zonal Marking, to look at how Robert Martinez had developed and shaped the Wigan Athletic 3-4-3 formation.

Michael has come up with a fantastic article about how Roberto Martinez has developed the 3-4-3, taking you through the testing, development and implementation of the formation this season.

Of course you’ll know it really started to work at the later part of this season, giving Wigan Athletic the necessary 7 wins in the last 9 games to ensure an 8th Season in the Premier League.

Anyway here’s the link to Michael’s Article, enjoy.
